RENEP 2K oils are specifically intended for the lubrication of slides and ways in machine tools in order to eliminate the phenomenon of stick-slip in operation. Stick- slip, or the leapfrog motion of the machine tool table on its ways, is most likely to occur when the table is moving slowly and subjected to heavy loads. It causes poor finish and possible rejection of the work piece, reduces tool life and causes wear.
